Son of A Sailor

My group was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the rugs and furniture. There were several noticeable stains. We actually had to put sheets on the furniture. The sheets and bath linens had stains. The bunk beds were very wobbly and guests on the top bunks had to remove the mattress and slept on the floor for safety concerns. We did reach out to the homeowner and they did make it right the next day but at the price that we paid our expectations were not initially met after driving 5 hours.

We stayed for four nights over Easter weekend (5 kids and 5 adults). The game room and back yard were perfect for the kids (ages 6-13). The back yard was great for the Easter Bunny’s visit. There were plenty of TVs to accommodate March Madness games and kids shows at the same time. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed walking to the nearby playground. Overall, a great family vacation. The hosts were very responsive to maintenance issues (downstairs toilet not working properly) and upstairs bathroom door was off its track. The maintenance issues were not resolved by the handyman during our stay (he visited once and wasn’t able to fix the problems that same day so we told him we were only staying one more day and not to worry about returning until after we checked out) we found work-arounds and didn’t let it bother us. A few things to note: the downstairs bathroom door is barn-door style and doesn’t seal so it’s not very private. The pull-out couch is thin and not comfortable (after the first night one person slept on the couch without pulling out the bed).

Great place , beds were comfy! Has everything you could possibly need. Will definitely stay here again.
