Live Oak Landing | Sound & Beach· Kayaks· Dock· EI

For anyone looking for unique access to both sound and ocean, this location is the one for you. We loved the dock in the back with the kayaks. It was very peaceful and relaxing the spend time out there watching the mullet jump about. The sunsets and sunrise views from the dock were amazing. Beach is a very quick and convenient walk across the street. The house has a Mediterranean feel to it, and it's decorated nicely. I would have like a large pot to boil pasta or make a seafood boil, otherwise, kitchen was outfitted well. Coffee maker had a frother, which is a bonus. The guest bed was very comfortable. There are outdoor lights that stay on at night and neighbors above and below. Still quite private, if you don't mind hearing occasional noise. Everyone was very nice.

Great location and property. Steps from Bogue Sound and the oceanfront. Host responds promptly to questions. Highly recommend the property.

What an amazing time

I gave it a 3 because of the must and moldy smell

We had a wonderful time at our stay here! The space was perfect for our family. I loved arriving to the welcome basket with some small bags of chips for the kids. Everything was very clean. I really appreciated the starters of having laundry pods, shampoo, body wash, dish detergent, coffee pods, etc! The dock area was nice, the kayaks were a lot of fun! The swing outside was great as well. I also loved having two furry feline friends in the morning that came to visit. Can't express how much we enjoyed our time here, and thank to our host! Very quick to respond when we had an issue and just to check in. Thank you again!
